Mesa Tactical at the movies
While we are aware of at least two big Hollywood films where Mesa Tactical products were featured, including one of the Transformers films, we are especially proud of the prominent placement if the Mesa Tactical logo in the trailer for the David Ayer film End of Watch (see photo at left).
This wasn’t an accident. What happened was the film producers were researching locations in the LAPD locker rooms, where they saw Mesa Tactical stickers festooning the walls and lockers. Many LAPD officers are Mesa Tactical customers, and of course there’s a sticker in every package of a Mesa Tactical SureShell carrier or shotgun stock. So we got a call from the filmmakers, who asked us for a supply of stickers so they could duplicate an LAPD locker room on one of their soundstages. Of course, we were happy to oblige.
We don’t know anything else about the film, except that as far as we can tell from the trailer, Jake Gyllenhaal really does look a lot like some LAPD officers we know!

We are at the 2012 SHOT Show® this week
Once again, Mesa Tactical will be exhibiting at the annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show in Las Vegas. This will be our 9th SHOT Show, and we’ll be in booth number 20410 in one of the several Law Enforcement sections.
While we are exhibiting, we’ll have a reduced staff back at the office, and in fact the office will be closed on Friday, 20 January.

Mesa Tactical Announces New SureShell™ Shotshell Carriers for Kel-Tec KSG Shotgun.
Mesa Tactical today announced the introduction of a SureShell on-gun shotshell carrier system for the new Kel-Tec KSG bullpup shotgun. Available in four-, six-, eight- and twelve-shell configurations, the Mesa Tactical SureShell Shotshell Carrier and Rail systems for the KSG are machined from aircraft aluminum and also feature accessory mount points for on-gun weapon lights and lasers.

Mesa Tactical Announces Urbino Tactical Stock and Forend bundle for Benelli M4 in New OD Green Color.
Mesa Tactical has once again teamed with local supplier Freedom Fighter Tactical to bundle their US-made forends with Mesa Tactical’s Urbino Tactical stock for the Benelli M4 semi-automatic shotgun. This new product bundle will allow Benelli M4 owners to customize their shotguns with OD green-colored stock and forend “furniture,” in addition to the black and coyote tan colors that are already available.
“Our June 2011 introduction of coyote tan Urbino Tactical stock and forend bundles was welcomed by Benelli M4 owners,” said Mitch Barrie, President of Mesa Tactical. “But we immediately received calls for OD green stocks and forends as well.”

Mesa Tactical Approaches 40,000 SureShell™ Shotshell Carriers Sold.
Mesa Tactical has recently announced total sales of its extremely popular SureShell shotshell carrier approaching 40,000 units. More importantly, overall sales of SureShell carriers have doubled over the past two years.
