Sureshot Shureshell saddle for remington 870

Hey guys, I ordered the sureshot saddle 91630 from Smartgunner back on March 23rd. I've called since to see what the status was and they said it would direct ship from you when ready. I was just curious to know about when it may ship. I also have a question about the product. From the pictures it looks like there's a notch under the picatinny rail. Does that notch extend the length of the rail and is the front bead of an 870 able to be seen through it? Was curious to know if I'll be needing additional iron sights to compensate. Thanks guys, I'm anxiously awaiting your product!

You can actually see the bead under the rail.

If you want to add ghost ring sights later, the rail is designed to work with the Wilson/Scattergun sights.
