Hi, I have looked over the forums and most of my questions have been answered however there is a few things I would like to ask.
(1) You mentioned that the High Tube Adapter does not fit the 7600/7615 rifles perfectly, Is the issue just a cosmetic one or does the stock lack support form the receiver?
(2) AR15 Pattern rifles are for all intents and purposes banned here in Australia so alot of the nonclementure is very odd to me. My plan is to get a 7600 in 30-06 fit it with a High Tube Adapter, receiver mounted rail (I will not use the one that is shipped with the adapter), Mesa Tactical Enidine Shot Stock Hydraulic Buffer, Magpul PRS Precision Adjustable Stock for AR15, MagPul MIAD (FLAT DARK EARTH) AR 15/M 16 AR Full Grip. There is mention of the need for tubes or some kind of nut that i would need but I'm not quite sure if any of this negates this, also whether these items are compatable. Would you be able to provide some insight?
(3) Odd question; The rail that comes with the High tube adapter, the threading looks the same as the two mounts on the side if I was daft enough to mount it what side would it fit on?

It's mostly cosmetic, but it could be operational too. The rail will be very high from the top of the receiver. It just doesn't seem like a practical approach.

That absolutely will not work. The rail will be far too low for the adapter and stock. You are much better off with a LEO adapter, with the provisos I will mention below.

The Magpul PRS is not compatible with the Enidine buffer. You need some kind of adjustable telescoping stock, like the Magpul CTR or MOE, and I understand these are banned in Australia. The CAR stock nut is only required with one of those telescoping stocks; the Magpul PRS would not need one.
Since you cannot legally have telescoping stocks, I can see why you are interested in the Magpul PRS and the High-tube adapter (the Magpul PRS would not be compatible with the LEO adapter). But it doesn't seem practical to us.
There's another issue, a quite serious one. We are only able to export these products because they are classified as shotgun parts and so their exports are administered by the US Commerce Department instead of the US State Department, which regulates the export of rifle parts, handgun parts and other munitions. Export of the latter categories can only be legally done under a munitions export license which requires an End User Certificate and lots of other paperwork.
We will not knowingly export our shotgun stocks to a customer who intends to fit them to a rifle, unless we can get an export license.
(3) Odd question; The rail that comes with the High tube adapter, the threading looks the same as the two mounts on the side if I was daft enough to mount it what side would it fit on?
Sure. You could do that and maybe mount a light.

G'day Mitch, so from what I am reading in this thread and others on the 7615/7600 is that basically the only issue is the fact that the Picatinny rail doesnt sit flush with the top of the receiver right? Is there any other issues with bolting just the adaptor to the 20g frame on these 7615/7600?
If not then it sounds like all one would need to get is the Adapter Mount Saddle Rails that the good fokes at mesa sell and leave the railing that comes with the high tube adaptor off.
Would i be correct in thinking that or are there more indepth compatability issues with fixing the high tube adaptor to these 20g recievers.

I happened to run across a photo of a High-tube adapter on a rifle in this thread:

So apparently people are doing it.

Cheers Mitch, looks as if there shouldnt be any problem at all if I was to ditch the railing use only the adaptor.
Might ask on the forum if anyone encountered any issues with thr installation.
