High-Tube on a Remington 870

1) I viewed a few websites who sell your High-Tube Adapter but they all show different pictures of the adapters, not sure if it's actually showing the correct one. Are there different generations of the Hight-Tube for the 12ga Remington 870?

2) Do you have a picture on how the High-Tube Adapter made for a 12ga Remington 870?

3) What is the High-Tube Adapter's model#, SKU#, item#, or etc. for the a 12ga Remington 870.

4) If I do not use the rail the high-tube adapter comes with (I already have a high rail attached), do you have a plate cover for the screw holes?

There are two generations.  The second and current generation appeared about two years or so ago.

Re: High-Tube on a Remington 870

I ordered the High-Tube Adapter (item# 90630) for my Remington 870 and recieved it today.  It does not look like the picture you posted on this thread which is what I thought to have ordered:

The one I recieved looks like the one made for the Mossberg shotguns, which has the top gap between the adapter and shotgun to compensate for the safety.

Did I receive the incorrect item?
I ordered the Hight Tube Adapter from one of your dealers, New Frontier Armory, which lists the item#90630, and the item was then drop shipped straight from your company.

Thank you...

Re: High-Tube on a Remington 870

I'm sorry, it looks like you got the wrong adapter.  You will have to call us at 949-642-3337 to arrange an RMA number so you can exchange it for the correct one.

Re: High-Tube on a Remington 870

Thank you Mitch for your response. I just called the phone number and was given my RMA number for the exchange. Lucy was very helpful over the phone. I will be shipping it back and will wait for the correct item to be resent.  Thank you for your help.

Re: High-Tube on a Remington 870

What is the plastic circle piece used for in the High-Tube Adapter kit for a Remington 870?

Do you have detailed instructions (maybe a video if available) for installing the High-Tube Adapter on a Remington 870?

Do you have a list of tools (and tool size) needed to install the High-Tube Adapter on a Remington 870?

Not sure what you mean by that.  I think we include a small nylon washer that can be used as a spacer with AR-15 grips that require a shorter bolt.

We don't have a video, but our instructions are pretty detailed: http://www.mesatactical.com/index.php?s … load&id=41

The only tool required that we do not supply is a large Philips head screwdriver, for the grip screw; as well as a pair of pliers, for applying more torque to the hex key used to installed the main receiver bolt.

Re: High-Tube on a Remington 870

I'll be doing a detail installation video on my youtube channel regarding the mesa high tube adaptor for the Remington receiver. Should be up in a few weeks. I will post the video in here if it is ok with the Mods on the forum?

Hope it might help other users when they are installing their adaptors smile
