New saddle rails on the CNC machines
Posted: June 15 2010
It seems to happen every spring. We re-tool some of our extrusions and the re-tooling takes too long and we end up running out of stuff before the new parts can be produced.
Well, for 2010 it was our Remington saddle rails (5 inch, 8½ inch and 20 inch). While we were revising the extrusion die for these parts, SHOT Show happened and we immediately sold out of almost all the saddle rail SKUs, and customers have been waiting patiently ever since.
We’re happy to report we finally got some 5 inch and 8½ inch rails to the anodizers this month, and in the photo above is our first 20 inch rail machined from the new extrusion (with a prototype of our upcoming Urbino Tactical Stock for the Remington 870). We will start filling backorders at the end of this month and all during July.
Thanks for your patience.
