Mesatac’s first grip for the AR-15 is a rubber overmolded part with comfortable grippy texture and a “beavertail” to protect the web of the hand. It features an armature of tough 20% glass filled polypropylene covered by TPE synthetic rubber. The Trego grip looks good on any rifle and feels great in the hand.

They aren't lying
Mesa recommended I pair this with their Mossberg 500 stock adapter. It doesn't look like it's going to fit well, so I was very surprised when it fit perfectly. It's nearly vertical when installed, and this is not a bad thing. They put the time and thought into this part and it shows, color me impressed.
