Mesa Tactical offers a shortened length of pull stock, known as the “Urbino” stock, for Benelli, Mossberg, and Remington shotguns. The Urbino stock kit is very popular in our law enforcement market due to the shorter length of pull, allowing the user to wear body armor or bulky clothing without extending their reach.
The reduced length-of-pull (LoP) makes the Urbino the first truly tactical stock for the Benelli M4. The Urbino Tactical stock is durable, easy to shoulder and will not slip.
The Urbino Tactical stock, is a fixed-length pistol grip shotgun stock made from injection-molded glass-filled nylon. Developed to meet the needs of law enforcement and military operators, the rugged Urbino Tactical stock features a 12 1/2″ inch LoP, soft uretahne rubber grip, optional Limbsaver® butt pad, optional adjustable cheek riser and a variety of flexible sling mounting options.
All hardware included, no gunsmithing necessary to install.
- Injection-molded in glass-filled nylon, the stock features a 12 ½” inch length of pull (LoP)

It fit perfect better than the orig my customer was very happy
This is a great stock! It is very well made and the reduced length versus the OEM stock makes it easier to handle the gun. The only issue I encountered was that the stock needed additional clearance so that it would accept the tang of the trigger guard. Apparently, Benelli changed the trigger guard from aluminum to polymer and in doing so changed the dimension of the tang. I just clamped the stock in a vise and used my Dremel to grind out the space where the tang fits.
The fit and finish of the Mesa stock was perfect! All sling attachments included! The game changer is the fact that even with the Limbsaver it’s over two inches shorter then the OEM stock from Benelli!! Great work Mesa Tactical!!
Nice stock, solid build. Extra soft butt-pad, reduced length of pull. Lot of sling mount options... all good reasons to buy this stock. One request:... let the Benelli M4 users know that the rear tang of the trigger assembly will "APPEAR TO NOT FIT AT FIRST, but that with some additional persuasion , the stock will form around the tang. My recommendation: BEFORE installing the stock, with the trigger housing removed from the receiver, push the rear tang of the trigger assembly into the cavity in the stock (where it will ride when installed) to pre-form the stock to accept the tang. It will be hard at 1st, but after a few pushes, the stock will start to accept the tang, and then the trigger assembly and be re-installed in to the receiver, and then the stock can be installed on the receiver.
How can I give this a good eating if I still did not receive the product??? Still waiting...
sadly, mesa tactical changed the grip angle from the OEM fixed m4 stock. it is noticeably more raked back and not nearly as comfortable. Mesa also made the stock wider so there is not a lot of room for your hand/wrist between the stock and pistol grip when manipulating the gun. i am a small guy and i really notice it. the OEM stock had perfect ergonomics outside of the slightly to long LOP. Stock is really well made, i just wish they mimicked the OEM m4 stock and it would have been perfect.
Huge improvement over the stock grip.
Easy to install. Solid fit. The fact that is shorter is perfect for me and my wife!
